New Energy Options (NEO) is an electrical engineering consulting firm focused on electrical system design for photovoltaic systems. With professional and corporate registrations in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts, New Energy Options can provide code compliant electrical design for grid-tied or stand-alone PV systems, as well as other forms of distributed generation.
New Energy Options specializes in design documentation in standard electrical construction formats appropriate for solicitation of competitive bids. NEO can supply fully specified designs with complete bills of materials (BOM), or can provide conceptual designs with detailed performance specifications. New Energy Options sells no products, nor does it represent any manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, inverters or balance of system (BOS) equipment. Because of this NEO can provide design services suited to your needs and design goals in an unbiased manner.
New Energy Options can review or prepare bid submissions and proposals, conduct site inspections and perform work reviews for owners or builders. NEO can act as the customer's representative to coordinate interconnection issues with Utilities or local distribution companies. New Energy Options can also provide representation for the contractor/building owner with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
